The 98 Composite Brigade was established in the year 1998 to protect the Jamuna Bridge which is considered one of the essential establishments. After establishing the bridge, the army authority feels the necessity of establishing a school for the educational development of the under privileged people of the surrounding Jamuna river bank area of Bangabandhu Bridge. Accordingly, with the financial support 19 Infantry Division, 98 Composite Brigade established the ʽʽLittle Star English Schoolʼʼ on 5th August, 2007 and opened classes from Nursery to class STD-3. After a year later Bangla version was added beside English version. In the year 2015, 98 Composite Brigade was transferred into Bangabandhu Cantonment.
